You can also set the controls in such a way that at a certain temperature, the unit will automatically stop functioning and shut down by itself. Mounted high on the ceiling, it is also out of the reach of children, reducing the chance of your kids getting hurt. By choosing ceiling mounted electric heaters over gas heaters, you also do a part for the conservation of the environment, as you reduce the usage of natural gas and the emissions of carbon monoxide.
